As a philosopher I find it interesting how the emperor alluded to Parmenides and his metaphysical understanding of oneness. This entire series has a huge philosophic bent towards Nietzsche and his followers that is fascinating. Furthermore I really enjoyed seeing the juxtaposition between utilitarianism and classical virtue or deontological ethics earlier on in the series.
