no, he didnt did that, i refuse to believe he erased her memory. that ends with the uncertain love he had with her. not cool. and that other geass guy? hes purely author self introduction, just as many characters whose are put in the middle of thestory from the nothing. didnt liked the outcome of the episode. but thats exactly what makes the storie being incredible.
